September brought two meaningful updates for finance teams working in Zone: new Cash Intelligence capabilities in ZoneReconcile and bank account verification through ZoneProcure.
Here’s what changed and where each update fits into the finance workflow.
Investigate reconciliation issues faster with Cash Intelligence
ZoneReconcile now includes new Cash Intelligence, giving finance teams a faster way to investigate reconciliation activity using natural language.
Instead of working backwards through transactions, searches and reports to understand why something hasn’t matched, teams can ask questions about their reconciliation data directly. That could mean identifying unmatched transactions, understanding reconciliation backlogs or investigating differences that need attention.
The bigger shift is in how teams investigate. Reconciliation still needs finance teams’ judgment, but finding the information behind that judgment can take less manual work.

Verify vendor bank details before money moves
ZoneProcure is also adding bank account verification, bringing an additional payment control into the procure-to-pay workflow.
Finance teams can verify submitted vendor banking details before approving them, helping them identify potentially incorrect or suspicious payment information earlier in the process.
For teams that currently rely on manual callbacks or separate verification processes when vendor bank details change, this brings that check closer to where the supplier information already lives and gets reviewed.
Sneak peek: October 2026
September may be focused on two releases, but October won’t be quite as quiet.
We have several updates in the works across Zone, including new products and capabilities we’ll be sharing more about soon. Keep an eye out for “This month at Zone” in October – there’ll be plenty to unpack.
