Zone & Co appoints Steven Bachert as Chief Revenue Officer
Zone & Co. has announced the appointment of Steve Bachert as its new Chief Revenue Officer. Bachert takes over the role from Caroline Kirby-Madden, who spent two and a half years in the role. It is not known where Kirby-Madden is moving to.
Bachert will lead Zone & Co’s go-to-market strategy to accelerate its next phase of growth and expansion. Zone & Co. is expanding quickly. It was recognised by ranking 495th on the 2024 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, with a growth rate of 204% between 2020 and 2023. That growth has been both organic and inorganic with acquisitions such as Solution 7 and Staria Flow.
Bachert will bring expertise in scaling organisations as Chief Revenue Office. And building high-performing teams. He will oversee all revenue-generating functions across Zone’s global markets, including sales and partnerships. Zone & Co. will hope that his appointment will bring a new surge of growth for the NetSuite Partner and firm behind the solutions that enable the office of finance to better deal with complex billing, revenue recognition, advanced reporting, AP Automation and payroll requirements.
Thomas Kim, CEO of Zone & Co. “We are thrilled to welcome Steven to Zone during this pivotal stage of growth. His extensive track record of building and leading global revenue organizations, coupled with his deep understanding of SaaS and FinTech industries, will be instrumental as we continue to scale our operations, expand into new markets, and deliver seamless solution-focused software for CFOs and their teams worldwide.”

Enterprise Times: What does this mean
Bachert brings deep experience in leading SaaS vendor growth in his previous roles. His experience of building and scaling teams internationally demonstrates the ambition of Zone & Co. to drive global expansion.
Bachert will help the company take further steps forward on its mission to redefine back-office operations through automation, innovation, and seamless ERP-native solutions. Joining at the start of the year, it will be interesting to see what changes he makes over the next few months as the company expands. The firm already has over eighty partners. Will he look to reorganise that go-to-market strategy or focus on direct sales?
Can Zone & Co. realise its potential and head towards an IPO, or will it be so successful that Oracle NetSuite looks to acquire the business?
