Discuss these things with your CFO and CEO, and make sure you’re all aligned before moving forward. After that, the most important thing is to have a long-term focus going into the process. Don’t look for systems that can handle what you need to do today—look for systems that can handle what you’ll be doing in six, twelve, eighteen months.
