A new chapter in what has already been an incredible journey.
It is with great pride and excitement that I’m announcing to you today that Fast Four has been acquired by Zone & Co – a renowned, US based NetSuite partner, offering world class lead-to-revenue solutions, built on NetSuite.
In 2012 I wrote down the first (what was then called) ERP Fast Forward targets on a slightly askew whiteboard in my 2m2 Amsterdam office. A team of one, blissfully unaware of how tough selling an unknown ERP in a competitive market would be. But not an inch short of motivation and determination to take on the challenge – The capabilities of the NetSuite platform had blown me away when I was first introduced to it as a customer. So much so that I decided to quit my job to become the first NetSuite Solution Provider in the Netherlands.
Not even 10 years later, the Fast Four family consists of an international team of 70+ incredibly talented people, who are committed to helping over 700 customers worldwide work smarter, not harder. A fantastic journey that is entering a new chapter as of today.
“So, why Zone?” You might wonder. And what’s next? What will be the benefits of this new joint force?
In the famous words of John Lennon: “Life happens when you’re busy making other plans” – Zone and our paths crossed unexpectedly, but the synergies between our visions & ambitions became apparent quite quickly. Just like the complementarity of our products and services.
Zone was founded in 2013 as a NetSuite Solution Provider by Derek Zanga (CEO) and Errol Fagone (CTO) – a passionate duo with a strong finance background and a very similar mission compared to ours: to make life easier for finance teams, through cloud software built on the NetSuite platform.
Their products, including ZoneBilling – a native NetSuite solution that is able to handle any complex billing scenario in NetSuite – are some of the best products I’ve come across and will unlock a whole new set of capabilities for our customers. Their team, like ours, is a tight knit group of skilled, genuinely nice people, full of ambition and a love for what they do.
Joining forces with Zone enables us to continue down the path we’ve been on, at greater scale, greater speed and with greater possibilities. Together we can accelerate global NetSuite development and adoption, and offer our customers the best partnership we can think of. With a broader product offering, greater collective expertise and experience and faster turnaround times for innovations and optimizations. This doesn’t mean we are downsizing our consultancy branch – Our Dutch and Belgian professional services teams are not going anywhere. But it does mean we get a chance to grow and improve our software side of the business quicker than we could have ever dreamed of. To continue to meet the ever evolving needs of our diverse customer base and set them up for success.
