ZoneCapture Supports Belgium’s E-Invoicing Mandate, Delivering Effortless Compliance Ahead of 2026
Zone's ERP-native solution empowers Belgian businesses to stay compliant with the government's Peppol e-invoicing requirements while automating financial operations.
NEW YORK, November 18, 2025 - Zone & Co, the leading ERP-native financial operations platform, today announced that its AP Automation solution now supports e-invoicing in Belgium, enabling businesses to meet the country’s new compliance requirements.
Starting January 1, 2026, Belgium will require all B2B invoices to be exchanged electronically via the Peppol network, as part of a broader EU push for digital tax compliance. With this update, Zone customers in Belgium can seamlessly send and receive compliant e-invoices directly within their ERP, maintaining full data integrity and end-to-end automation.
ZoneCapture, trusted to process tens of millions of transactions each year, manages both e-invoices and traditional PDF documents within the same ERP-native capture, approval, and reconciliation flow. This enables Belgian businesses to achieve compliance without changing workflows or adding new technology, reducing operational risk, minimizing manual intervention and ensuring efficiency.
The new Belgium e-invoicing capability expands Zone’s suite of global compliance features. By leveraging Zone's ERP-native AP Automation solutions, customers ensure:
- Compliance: Native support for Belgium’s mandates through the Peppol network, ensuring seamless integration.
- Audit readiness: Immediate, secure and complete digital audit trail, making tax audits faster and more efficient.
- Unified invoice management: Structured e-invoices and PDFs are processed through a single, familiar workflow.
- No workflow disruption: Organizations can maintain their existing processes, avoiding costly retraining or new system rollouts.
- Future-proofed finance operations: ZoneCapture adapts as regulations evolve, keeping finance teams prepared for what’s next.
"As European governments continue to digitize tax reporting, companies need partners who anticipate regulatory change rather than react to it,” said Billie Miric, Global Head of Product at Zone & Co. “Expanding our e-invoicing capabilities to Belgium reinforces our mission to deliver a fully automated finance solution for every global business running on the Zone platform.”
The e-invoicing feature is available immediately for existing Zone customers and can be enabled by contacting your Zone & Co account representative for activation support.
