New partnership gives organisations secure, automated access to Australian financial institutions through ZoneReconcile, reducing manual reconciliation and strengthening the foundation for AI-powered treasury

NEW YORK, JULY 15, 2026 Zone & Co, a leading ERP-native, AI-powered financial operations platform, today announced a partnership with Cuscal, one of Australia's leading open banking providers, to bring secure financial data connectivity to Australia through ZoneReconcile. By combining Zone's automated reconciliation capabilities with Cuscal’s data platform (Basiq), including Consumer Data Right (CDR) access and financial data services , organisations can securely connect to Australian financial institutions directly within their ERP. This eliminates manual bank file imports, while accelerating reconciliation and improving cash visibility.

For many finance teams, bank reconciliation still relies on downloading bank files, logging into multiple banking portals, and manually importing transactions or configuring SFTP connections. These repetitive processes consume valuable time, slow financial close cycles and increase the potential for errors.

Through Cuscal’s CDR-enabled platform (Basiq), ZoneReconcile automates transaction imports directly within the ERP. Finance teams can securely onboard their bank and begin importing statements in just a few clicks, improving efficiency, visibility, security and financial control.

Cuscal is at the forefront of Australia's evolving data ecosystem, providing secure, consent-based access to financial data through regulated APIs and enriched data capabilities. As demand grows for faster, more connected finance operations, the partnership combines Cuscal’s trusted data infrastructure and Zone's ERP-native financial automation to deliver a more seamless way to manage cash activity without leaving their ERP.

"Our goal has always been to help finance teams spend less time on manual work and more time making strategic decisions," said Thomas Kim, CEO of Zone. "Through Basiq, Cuscal has established one of Australia's leading open banking platforms, making them the ideal partner as we expand financial data connectivity into the region. Together, we're giving organisations a faster, more secure way to connect Australian financial data directly inside their ERP while creating the financial foundation for the next generation of AI-powered treasury."

Australia is Zone's first supported market in the Asia-Pacific region, extending the company's financial data connectivity across North America, Europe, the UK and Australia. Organisations can securely connect a wide range of accounts, including transaction, savings, business banking, loan, term deposit, line of credit, and credit card accounts, through Cuscal’s Consumer Data Right (CDR) platform (Basiq), bringing Australian financial data into the same reconciliation workflow as their global operations.

"At Cuscal, our focus is on providing organisations with access to secure payments infrastructure and financial data, seamlessly integrated into their tools, so they can build better experiences for their customers," said Tom Picone, Domain Lead, Data Products at Cuscal. "In this partnership, we're enabling Zone to embed the value of our CDR-enabled data platform (Basiq) into their finance function, making it easier for organisations using Zone to automate reconciliation, reduce manual processes and access the financial data they need to make faster, more informed decisions."

The partnership also strengthens the foundation for Zone's growing AI-powered treasury capabilities. Following the recent launch of ZoneLiquidity, which introduced AI-powered cash forecasting and a Scenario Planning Agent, organisations can now bring Australian banking activity into the same financial data foundation already used by more than 1,000 customers, enabling automated transaction matching and maintaining a clear view of cash across accounts and entities. The result is more complete cash visibility, more accurate forecasting and better-informed treasury decisions across global operations.

ZoneReconcile combines automated access to financial data with intelligent transaction matching to reduce manual reconciliation work while improving financial visibility and control. According to Zone data, customers achieve 95% faster reconciliation and 99% fewer reconciliation errors. Finance teams can also save up to three hours per bank account every month by eliminating manual transaction imports and reconciliation tasks, allowing organisations managing 14 bank accounts to reclaim more than 42 hours every month.

These performance metrics are based on Zone & Co's internal analysis and customer implementations. Actual results may vary.
